Sorry, forgot to set up the Mexico one in time, think we'll just have to skip it. Hadn't realised it was a double header.

Weirdly, we managed to leave out the two DNFs. Hamilton completed the race in 1:27:09.066, much faster than we expected, so nmrfox wins the bonus to cement his lead.

A slight tweak to the randomising - I did the top six as a group separately and then the other 14, with Ocon and Gasly missing out this time. Qualifying is this Saturday, 24 November, 1700 local time (1300 GMT/UTC).

TIME TO FIRE THIS UP AGAIN.
For each race, there will be six different trios of drivers. You have to predict the order in which they are classified in the race (DNFs are classified by number of completed laps) according to the Formula 1 website.
Scoring:
- Correctly predicting the order of the three drivers = 2 points
- Correctly predicting the top finisher of the three drivers = 1 point
- Bonus correct (or closest) = 2 points
Deadline will be before qualifying for each race.
Here are the abbreviations for 2019.

Here are the trios to put in order of their classification. As it's the first race these are fully randomised. Lance Stroll and Nico Hulkenberg are sitting this one out.

No problem Sits, there's only six ways of doing each of these trios, and when there is full list randomisation you often get an obvious pick for the win. From Bahrain onwards I'll randomise the top ten into three trios and the bottom ten into the other three which hopefully will lead to more difficult decisions.

So, er, eight cars finished on the lead lap in Abu Dhabi so Wouter claimed the final bonus of 2018, which was enough to see off my challenge for second place. Foxy cruised serenely to victory, so hearty congrats to the inagural champion.

Ricciardo started in 12th.
Poor Daniel Ricciardo. Still no podiums in his home race and after going out in Q2 - which none of us predicted - his front wing then smashes off on the grass right at the start. The Williams cars' lack of pace is bordering on the farcical, but at least I suppose they can always race against each other.
Anyway, here are the scores.
Kevin S - 11 (11)
Third rate Lezno 10 (10)
ursus arctos - 6 (6)
Sits - 8 (8)
Now, if we get a few more people enter for Bahrain, then I'm minded to reset these and call it a formation lap. The better way of creating the trios is where we have a rank order of drivers, and now we have a top ten to play with.Last edited by Kevin S; 18-03-2019, 10:03.
