Good luck, I hope they don't lurk on here though Sits

Given Granthamian posts quite regularly here, I can only assume that Sits is running a sophisticated double bluff here.

Ooh I forgot that was his team! Hasty edit required!

Etienne and Antepli Ejderha thanks for reminding me!

Granthamian apologies for forgetting the Turtles are your team and I’ll just have to gamble that you didn’t read my post before I deleted it!

Sean of the Shed I wish to resign from the Heineken League. I am not feeling this team at all, it's like managing Stoke (sorry, Janik!). When is the best time to do this from your point of view, before or after the new season goes through?

Ah that's a shame delicatemoth as I was looking forward to renewing our friendly rivalry again next season.

That's no problem, DM. I would be grateful if you could stay in place until I have completed the season update, which should be within a week or so, and then I will inactivate you (you may need to remind me once it has happened).

I normally do not promote 18/4 youths from the Academy. But in my Ballyfermot Rovers team in the Chaos Cartel I got one which is worth 2 Million Econ. And I rarely have seen a player who is stuffed with that many SQs. Finn Rourke is an 18/4 midfielder, Hard Trainer, Intelligent, Free-kick specialist, excellent in long passing, and very good at heading the ball. (which is good as long as this is allowed in the game). The only negative HQ is that he is a Diva, but I am quite fine with it. I will try to develop him and get him a nice double jump and then will sell him.

                        Some excellent squares there Joe.
Diva is a great square with good or excellent compatibility, it's an easy match rating booster with the correct squad number, but it makes selling on a bind. I've always found it best to just keep banging them back on the market at quoted value or above until you get a bite rather than start low, as there is a much more likely chance of being stuck on the first bid.

Drakaina were fifth after a draw took them to four points from three games in Division 1a, three points from top, two from second and one ahead of fifth.
Between that and the last game of the opening half against Mosshagen United LFC, The Dragons had drawn quite often. Too often. And this game would prove to be another as Etienne’s side were held to a goalless draw despite having 57% possession and out-shooting their visitors 4-1.
Just 7 goals scored in the opening half of the campaign implies where the problems lie; it’s not in defence as Drakaina have only lost twice. But 7 points from seven games is only good enough for fifth in Division 1a. Another return to the top flight looks unlikely, Drakaina trail the play-off place by seven points and top by ten. In fact, the task now looks to be keeping out of Division 2, as the side in sixth (which happens to be Mosshagen) are only a point behind.

Mauchline Belles were down in seventh in Division 1b with two points from their opening three games, one point ahead of last but also only one point behind fifth.
Since then Jdsx’s side have… not climbed all that much. They kicked off at Fortitudo Culemborg only a place higher. And in danger of losing even that as defeat here would send Culemborg above The Burns’ Fancies.
Which is exactly what happened, even if the manner of it was far from fair on the Ayrshire girls. They made many more chances than the hosts, but were undermined by a couple of things – one was skipper and key midfielder Fernanda Perdao being forced from the field with a 15-day injury during the first half. The other was conceding twice from three shots at Anne Haddington’s goal.
Mauchline end the first half of the season seventh in the table, though their eight points gained is only four adrift of second and within six of top spot in a tight Division without any stand-out teams.

We left Division 3e with Viking South Utsira top of the table with three wins from three, and Coxy Ladies Wulpen second with two wins and six points. Wulpen also had nearly double the goals scored of the next best team (7 to 4), excluding Viking that is who (12) were on nearly double The Waders and treble or more the rest.
So a good start then. And one that was maintained over the next few weeks, including a lively 2-2 draw against each other that saw Wulpen equalise in stoppage time. Indeed Viking were still top when third-placed Coxy Ladies welcomed struggling Deportivo Cruz Azul to The Curlew’s Nest.
This game fitted the pattern of the two sides’ season to date, The Waders dominating and Cruz Azul trying to limit the damage. They kept it to Charlotte Beyen’s opener for longer than Waders boss Janik found comfortable, his worst fears apparently being realised when the Mexicans drew level late on. However Wulpen marched straight down the other end, Noémie Kerckhoeven heading the winner.
That win lifted Wulpen back into second place in the table, and would have taken them top if VSU didn’t beat bottom side Gretna Girls FC .
But that didn’t happen as The Blood Eagles showed an species-appropriate disdain for romantic nonsense, instead battering Gretna with four first half goals. Lina Hovland got two of them (both trademark direct free-kicks) with Nina Austrheim also contributing for Velvet Android’s side, and the third Hovland of Hovland, Hovland and Hovland, Mette, also on target. The second half was a non-event apart from an injury to young defender (work experience student!) Kia Kvalvik, that saw her depart the field and head to the treatment room for 8 days.
And so we find ourselves with OTF sides first and second in the 3e table, Viking holding a two point lead over Coxy Ladies, who in turn are a point clear of third.

Both Bombay Green Rockets and Kanjeng Ratu Kidul WFC began Division 4k with 100% record as far as matchday 3. Those nine points had KRK second in the table, which felt slightly unfair after they beat the early leaders Bombastic Girls in week 3, but happened as the Green Rockets win, which was by a number of goals, saw them zoom past to claim top spot. Both were three points clear of the rest at this stage.
Come the dawn of matchday 7 the situation had reversed again, Kanjeng moving into top spot and Bombay dropping to third behind Bombastic Girls. The Sea Goddesses were looking to protect and possibly extend their advantage when they visited struggling Blue Belles.
The match turned out to be one-way traffic, in, as expected, The Sea Spirits favour. SeanoftheShed’s charges dominated from the off, Mariell Grønnåsen getting strike in the first half, Aulia Wibawa adding to it soon after the break and Utami Sumanti rounding things off with a quarter of an hour or so left.
The win ensured that KRK would maintain at least a five point lead in the standings, but it could even grow if both of Bombastic Girls or Bombay Green Rockets, who were locked together in second, failed to win. In Bombay’s case, that would have meant not triumphing at another side in the 3k’s bottom three, the spelling-challenged Northen Stars Lady.
Two first half strikes from Isabel Lock and Agnes Panzer put The Rockets in a commanding position, which looked even better when a Stars player was shown a straight red card early in the second half. Strangely that wasn‘t the cue for HKS3’s team to dominate, instead the hosts having more of the play. However when their chances produced a goal back that finally sparked a Bombay reaction, Lock quickly netting a third to make the points secure again.
New from elsewhere that Bombastic Girls had been held to a draw means that 4k is another Division with OTF sides in first and second spot at the midway point of the season, Kanjeng leading the way, five points clear of the Green Rockets, who are in turn two points ahead of the chasing pack.
Oh, and the match between the two OTF sides took place on matchday 5 and ended as a 1-0 win for KRK thanks to a strike 20 minutes in.

When we felt Cassiopeia, the Vainglories sat six points from three games. That was good enough to be third in Division 4n, one point off the top and second, three clear of sixth.
Between then and matchday 7 things continued to go well for Stormstopper’s side, two furthers wins and a draw having the newly promoted outfit second… and able to claim top spot at the turn if they could beat leaders Jocvijeve Zecice in their final match of the opening half.
Which is precisely what they went and did. Being awarded a penalty fairly early on helped, as did being dead-eyed, Cassiopeia converting all three of their shooting opportunities in the match. Sandra Aritonovic did so from the spot and then in open play to have The Constellations two ahead by the break, Gertrude Schmoll adding a third just over 10 minutes from the end to utterly wrap things up.
That saw the teams swap places at the midpoint of the season, Cassiopeia sitting top of the 4n table, a point clear of second and two ahead of Zecice who slip to third.

It took Cinghiali three attempts to get their first win in Division 5:14. But when it came along it was enough to lift The Boars up two places to third in table, level on points with second, two behind top, and three clear of sixth.
That good, if draw heavy start was maintained through the rest of the opening half, SitsWithRemote’s side still lying third when they prepared to face S-----.
This was a game that would have had travelling fans worried. Cinghiali had drawn three of their previous six fixtures, in major part because they were not really scoring or conceding, managing to net three but only ship two in their first six games. Their visitors had been a little more expansive, but still sat on 4-6 ahead of this fixtures. What I am saying is the 0-0 that followed was absolutely par for the course.
Fortunately this lack of goals seems to be an endemic issue in 5:14. And that means ten points from seven games is still enough to have Cinghiali third in the table, and that only two points adrift of second. They are also only four points clear of sixth, but *pah* not an issue (at the moment…).

The last we saw of LNWR Locomotive they were in free-fall, with relegation being followed by three defeats from three as they started life in Division 5:17. This had them second bottom of the table as another side had had an even worse start. Even so Viktor Boskovic’s charges were four points from safety, with only one goal scored at that point. *gulp*
Things had only picked up somewhat prior to The Steamers matchday 7 trip to Throop Ladies. A first win had been claimed, but only against a zombie. However as that had followed a first point on matchday 5, there was at least, and at last, some positive momentum behind Locomotive ahead of this game.
Once LNWR get a head of steam up they can be devastating, though. A 15-day injury suffered by defender Sanja Brencic early in this game didn’t derail them. Nor did a late red card for Pauline Diallo, though it was fortunate that that arrived three minutes after Flávia Reisinho had netted what proved to be the winner.
That result made the 5:17 table look rather less ominous for The Steamers, Throop being one of the teams just outside the drop zone they are trying to catch. The gap between the two closed to two points and one place, Locomotive moving up to sixth on the back of the win.

Talking of momentum, losing a play-off can be a killer as Rising Stars were finding out in the early stages of the campaign, two defeats out of three leaving them sixth in Division 5:18. But that was sixth level on points with fourth, though.
However, class will also out. Two defeats from three was followed by two wins out of the next three to lift The Ascenders up to second in the table ahead of their game at Wheelies Wobblers.
Érica Veríssimo set about making that three wins out of four for blamb’s team, turning in a stellar performance. One of Veríssimo’s skills is direct free-kicks, and she scored two of these, one in each half. And just to prove she can do it with a moving ball and defenders allowed to be closer than 1- yards, she also fired in one from range from open play.
That did the job, keeping Rising second on goal difference in 5:18. The leaders are a long way off (seven points clear), and the advantage to the team in third is just +2 GD, but even so it is much better position to be in now than it was a few weeks ago.

Week three of the campaign had seen ASU Politehnica and Invisible Ladies lose. Those results had The Scholars fifth in Division 5:21 table, a point clear of trouble. The See-Throughs were very much in trouble though, bottom, three points adrift of Politehnica.
Wind forward four weeks and the positions had become more entrenched. Invisible were still bottom, with The Scholars in a more comfortable mid-table fourth position ahead of a match with the side one place behind themselves, Flick of the Wrist.
The visitors to Timisoara held a half-time lead in this game thanks to a direct free-kick, only for Granthamian’s side to fight back after the break in identical fashion, Fernanda Motta ensuring it was a point each with her own straight conversion of a set-piece.
About the only niggle in Politehnica’s season to date was drawing with struggling Yerti. The See-Throughs really had to do better than that when the two met on matchday 7 – after all their hosts were the only side within striking distance of PebbletheFish’s side (three points to Invisible’s one).
Good news – The See Through’s delivered. They must have known it was going to be their day when Estelle Marshland scored just a handful of minutes in, the midfielder having gone 39 previous Invisible games without finding the target. That set the scene for a strong performance from The San Seethrough side, which culminated in Aileen Shuttlewood netting a deserved second late on to seal the three points.
That saw Invisible climb up to seventh in the 5:21 table. They are, however, still five points adrift of fifth. Politehnica, meanwhile, are three clear of sixth… and also three behind the top two, who are only separated by goal difference.
Deduction will tell you The Scholars must have won the OTF derby. Otherwise how could Invisible have had one point on matchday 3, and having subsequently played Politehnica still only having one to their name after matchday 6. The meeting actually happened on the later date, The Scholars leaving it to the last minute to turn in their essays, but beating the deadline by a few minutes to claim a deserved 1-0 win.

The opening three weeks of the season went OK for Zeugma Dostluk Spor. How ‘OK’ is OK? How about three wins out of three, no goals conceded and three points clear at the top of Division 5:26. That sounds OK to me.
ZDS were still top and still unbeaten (though no longer 100% - one game had ended as a draw) as they prepared for their matchday seven clash with somewhat distant nearest rivals Cebollitas, who were second but six points behind Antepli Ejderha’s side.
Expectations were high at the Insan Haklari Stadyumu. Sadly for the home fans, they were not met. At least not met by their team. Makbule Mansiz did find the target for an equaliser seconds into the second half, but that was against the overall flow of the game, and if 3-1 to Cebollitas (which was how it finished) was a little harsh on the Anatolian side, that is only because 2-1 to the visitors would have been fairer. A home defeat was sadly the right outcome from this match.
And that meant ZDS’s once comfortable lead had become rather less padded. It is still three points, but that is enough that a princess isn’t imagining things when she claims to feel that pea.

Menywod Maeshafn kicked off the season with two wins and one draw. They were yet to concede a goal by the end of matchday 3, and with no-one in Division 5:27 on 100% they found themselves headed by no-one, though they were joined on seven points by one other. The rest were three or more points further back.
The same two sides still occupied the top spots prior to matchday 7, though the other way around with Maeshafn second after having lost to Three Lionesses on matchday 6. That was a first defeat for the Welsh side, one boss IsThatcherDeadYet would have been looking for an immediate bounce back from against, conveniently, bottom side Brkate Zetovke.
Katherine Barker put her side swiftly ahead to make sure nerves played little part in the game. Clare Lincoln had a second disallowed but that only delayed the inevitable, Edith Narberth adding the final nail in the coffin with a second late on.
Elsewhere, Three Lionesses recorded their third 0-0 draw of the season (they are yet to concede this campaign but have only scored 7!), which opened the door for Maeshafn to return to the 5:27 summit at the halfway point.

A win, draw and a defeat in opening three games for Dublin City Womens FC had the Irish side fifth in the Division 5:28 standings. They were ahead of sixth on just Goal Difference, but at the same time only behind second by one point.
Unfortunately that encouraging start was followed by three straight defeats that had pushed The Molly Malones down to seventh in the standings prior to their game with fellow strugglers Moe Szyslak Experience, who were a place and two points ahead of Mortal Joe’s side.
That made it not far off a must-win game as far as Dublin were concerned. They set about it in a determined enough manner, and got their reward when Michelle Hempel opened the scoring just after the hour. That proved to be the final goal scoring opportunity of the match, The Molly Malones shutting their barrow once they had their lead.
The win saw the teams swap places in the 5:28 table, Dublin climbing to sixth and now sitting just one point adrift of fifth.

Csiki Girls were suffering a bit of a hangover in the opening weeks of the season after relegation from Division 4 last time out. That manifested itself as just two points gained from their three games. They were yet to win (obviously), but not easily beaten (also clear). But that was only good enough for seventh in Division 5:31, two points behind fifth, but also just four behind the early leaders.
But then end of matchday six that first win had been secured by Ad hoc’s side… but only the one and with just that they were still sixth in the standings. However a win over fourth-in-the-table Cluj SisterHood and the teams would swap places.
Two goals in the opening half hour set Csiki Girls en route to that, Norma Ackland and Ginger Crampsey the suppliers. Cluj pulled one back soon after the half-hour, but as that would prove their only shot of the entire day Csiki Girls’ lead was still secure. That didn’t make Georgia Birch’s headed third just over ten minutes from time any less welcome, though.
3-1 was Csiki Girls goal total from the season go up by 60% in 90 minutes (from 5 to 8). It also lifted them up to fourth in the 5:31 table, a point clear of the bottom two but still a dispiriting eight adrift of the runaway top two.

After three weeks of the season Ullapool Northern Star held a record of 11 scored, 0 conceded, nine points, top and three points clear of anyone else in Division 6:39. Almost like they are too good for this league and should never have been relegated into it…
By matchday 7 one of these 100% records had gone – the least important one, goals conceded. These were up to 2, but scored was on 22. And the gap to second-placed Abbeywood Unicorns sat at a yawning nine points prior to the sides meeting at The Valley Fortress.
Well, fortress stormed. Polaris were two to the good within the first 20 minutes, Inès Mamouni and Avril Weatherhead both on target for Delicatemoth’s side. Two to the good was good, three clear even better and that is exactly where UNS found themselves after Julie Taggart struck fifteen minutes or so from time.
Talking of being clear, Polaris’ gap to the pack in 6:39 remains ‘only’ nine points despite Abbeywood’s defeat as various other sides went past the Unicorns. Nine points is still decent for anyone, particularly a side that has now beaten every other team in their league to reach the end buoy still at 100%.

After three weeks of the season Hazeldean Inchmistress held a record of 13 scored, 0 conceded, nine points, top and three points clear of anyone else in Division 6:42. Almost like they are too good for this league and very keen to put last seasons’s play-off near-miss behind them…
The 100% record had gone by matchday 7 though as The Imperials drew 0-0 with the side that looks like being their key rivals for the 6:42 title. However Hazeldean still topped the table thanks to a superior goal difference. Something they had a clear chance to add to against zombies Mizz Amatörz, who were bottom, pointless and goalless.
And, well, no contest. In fact it was basically all over in the opening minute, which was how long it took Jessica Dekoninck to open the scoring. Goals flowed freely following this, until seven had been struck by midway through the first half, at which point Foxy265’s side got bored and spent their time concentrating on more interesting things… like what is for dinner?
For the record Dekoninck got one more to register a personal brace, Jennie Bringevik also got two, Göta Christersson, Line Pedersen and Mollie Tattershall also chipping in.
The win did extend the goal difference advantage over second-placed Team Rafael Women to +11 (+28 to +17). However the head-to-head meeting on matchday 11 remains the likeliest way a winner for 6:42 is going to be found.

                                  A very brief OTF Season 65 Day 5 Round-Up...

                                  OTF

An own goal from Eriskay Expression captain Kyle Stuart handed victory to Berkshire Swine at the Stef Tolsma Arena and keeps them at the top. Expression stay 6th. Vita Mortis were comfortable 3-0 winners at Locomotiv Noj – with goalkeeper Howard Stant netting the second from the spot - to stay two points behind the Swine in 2nd. They have yet to concede a goal, while Noj have yet to pick up a point. Indeed, the three teams promoted from Division 1 last season fill the bottom three places with not a win between them, though the other two –Zeugmaspor and Steaua Bridge – move on to three points after useful draws, Zeugmaspor 1-1 away at Four Candles and Steaua 1-1 at home to Croesoswallt Dragons. The Candles and the Dragons are 4th and 5th, and moving into 3rd are AFC Csiki Monkeys after a 2-0 win at Great Ouse Town, who are a point clear of the relegation zone.

                                  Division 1

Having conceded no goals in their first four games, Whoft Fluffopolis shipped two in three minutes to find themselves 2-1 down early on at home to Turd Division before recovering to win 4-2 and preserve their 100% start. The Turds remain one from bottom. Two first-half goals from Viggo Krommenhoek set Waveney Valley Swifts on their way to a 4-0 home win over Kernow Kensa that keeps them in 2nd and sees Kernow slip to 7th. Dandy Town had to wait until the final ten minutes for the Lincoln Bradshaw and Timmu Kraft goals that gave them a 2-0 victory over bottom-placed visitors Banik Roystonov. The Dandies stay 3rd. Hampshire Deers were ahead in the first minute at Rejects Redux, but the home side fought back to win 2-1 and pinch the Deers’ 4th position. Wednesday de la Zouch also climbed above the Deers, into 5th, following a 2-0 home win over Portsmouth FC, who slip into the drop zone.

                                  Division 2

A scoreless draw at Somers Town Sugar Imps brought Saltney Drawers’ perfect start to an end, and their lead at the top is down to one point after 2nd-placed die Ambosse beat Andromache FC 2-1, just holding off a comeback from the visitors after skipper Bernd Frehn was sent off. Cods of War drop out of the top three and down to 5th following a 3-2 home defeat by Azure Dragons, whose winning goal, from Lachlan Boston, was late but well deserved. The Dragons climb to 6th, above Andromache and the Imps. Wharfedale Generals are up to 3rd after two goals from Frank Hulme helped them to a 3-0 win over Heffron Hendecagon, who are 9th with just one point so far. That’s one more than Wensleydale Blues have – they tumbled to a fifth straight defeat without scoring when Littlewoods Legends struck early and then shut up shop to see out a 1-0 win that lifts them to 4th.

                                  Division 3

Though they were held to a 1-1 draw at Brian Munchingflapjack, Great Northern Railway stay a point clear at the top. Veni Vici Vigata surrender 2nd place after a goalless encounter at Pinewood Passers, who stay 4th. Moving above VVV into 2nd are New Dresden following their 3-0 home win against Eintracht Midwest, who picked up their first point of the season on Monday and stay 9th. Below them and without a point so far are Indigo Plateau, beaten 2-0 at Athletico Deva. The Deviants climb to 6th, level on points with the Flapjacks, who are 7th, and 5th-placed Tree Hill High, for whom Toby Gregory grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser at OWC Albion, who drop a place to 8th.

After the defeat, the manager of Moe Szyslak Experience resigned. I know, it is not good when a mansger resigns, but in this case it would give us probably the advantage to get a win and therefore get us out of the relegation zone. Of course, just one day before the game, the team got a new manager, which makes it more unpredictable and more difficult.

I had my first reasonable success with my 'official' team, winning a playoff and moving from Div 5 to Div 4 on my third season in the former. Time to slowly chip my way upwards.

OTF roundup for October 11th 2021, Season 65 round 6

                                              Division 3
Half a dozen rounds of fixtures in, Division 3 is anything but settling down, with just two points spanning the top 6, and four points the top 8. Nobody has won more than half their matches, with leaders Great Northern Railway one of only two unbeaten teams on 3-3-0 after being held 0-0 at Veni Vici Vigata – a result sufficient to propel VVV to 2nd, which I think suggests my comments last season about their slow but steady improvement may yet be borne out this term. New Dresden suffered their own first defeat in a 5-2 home hammering from OWC Albion, dropping Dresden to 4th and raising Albion to 7th with just a point separating them.
Tree Hill High go above Dresden to 2nd on GD after thumping Pinewood Passers 3-0 at home; Passers would have gone 2nd themselves with a win but are instead 8th. Brian Munchingflapjack are up to 5th after beating pointless teenagers Indigo Plateau 3-0 away, and Athletico Deva’s 2-0 win at second-bottom Eintracht Midwest keeps them stable in 6th while all about them is in flux.
Thursday sees the top two meet at GNR, while the real interest I think you’ll agree is the clash of Plateau and Midwest to see who can improve on their current tally of one point between them.

                                              Division 2
Leaders Saltney Drawers have still only conceded one goal, but their momentum stalled a little on Monday with a 0-0 at Andromache FC (6th). They are now just a point ahead of Wharfedale Generals, who won 2-1 at Azure Dragons to push the Dragons into the dropzone on GD in 7th. Generals leapfrog die Ambosse, who blew their chance to go top with a 2-1 loss at Littlewoods Legends in a game they’d led in the 3rd minute. Undefeated Legends are still behind them on goals scored, but that is all that separates the pair in 3rd and 4th.
Two points back, Cods of War stay 5th after a surprise 1-1 draw at bottom side Wensleydale Blues, who had previously 0 points and 0 goals but took a deserved early lead at Rockall and held it for most of the game before Cods managed to rescue a point. Former league champions Somers Town Sugar Imps meanwhile hauled themselves out of the relegation places with a 1-0 at Heffron Hendecagon, leaving the Hendos joint bottom on just 1 point so far.

                                              Division 1
Whoft Fluffopolis’ perfect start was wrecked on Monday with a shock 2-0 defeat at lowly Portsmouth F.C (sigh), the former Nieuwegein Kneebiters. Waveney Valley Swifts draw level with them at the top on 5-0-1 by edging out Rejects Redux 1-0 at home, knocking Redux down to 5th behind Wednesday de la Zouch who crushed Kernow Kensa 4-0 away. Kensa slip below the safety line to 8th, behind Portsmouth who join local rivals Hampshire Deers on 7pts after the Southern Cervines’ 0-0 home draw with Dandy Town (3rd). The basement battle saw the two winless sides Banik Roystonov and Turd Division meet at More Zahrada, and a 2-1 victory for Banik saw them climb off the foot of the table to 9th at Turds’ expense.

                                              OTF
Last season ended with Berkshire Swine and Vita Mortis in close combat at the top of the league, after a lengthy four-way battle with Great Ouse Town and Four Candles. On Monday all four of last term’s title challengers faced off — and afterwards it was still the case between the Swine and Mortis at the summit after the Sty Council were held 1-1 at Ouse in an even game while the Reaper Men surprisingly dominated and overcame Candles 1-0 at home, Mortis keeper Howard Stant making it six clean sheets to start the season to match his six in a row that ended last season, in addition to his first ever goal last Thursday. Surreally, he has scored more than he has conceded since mid-August.
The results brought the two teams level in 1st and 2nd, the freer-scoring Swine still leading the way on GD. Csiki Monkeys move a point clear of Candles in 3rd, but lost ground on the two ahead after becoming the first club this season to drop a point to bottom side Locomotiv Noj. Croesoswallt Dragons (5th) meanwhile suffered a 4-0 home humping from previously second-bottom Zeugmaspor, not only their first victory of the season but their first over the Dragons in 13 attempts. With Steaua Bridge eking out a late 1-0 win at Eriskay Expression with the only shot of the whole game, it was all change in lower mid table with Zeugma and Steaua up out of the relegation places to 6th and 7th while Eriskay and a rather harshly done-by Ouse sliding to 8th and 9th a point each behind the pair.
