    Fantasy Premier League 2016/17

The new Fantasy Premier League game is up and running:

The OTF League from last season has been renewed, so former members should be added automatically. If not, or if you are new to the game then this is the code to join:

    311623-96035

The Head to Head league, OTF Mano a Mano, could not be renewed for some reason, so I have had to create a new league. If anyone fancies joining the head to head then this is the invite code:

    311623-96059

Van Gaaly Rae Jeps-IN. Better squad than last year, quite pleased with it.

Was thinking its a bit early to be finalising the squad - Plenty of time for pre-season injuries, excessive pizza consumption, DVT from pointless air travel, dropped marmite jars etc.
Looks like there are unlimited free transfers up to the deadline though which is perfect for feckless tinkerers like me.

The return of The Cidermen is complete. Although i fear my ideological decision to de- lete any Manchester United players may finally backfire on me this season.

Stimpson J. County embark on another campaign of incredible mediocrity.

I DID spend a while on my kit (gone for hoops this year) but it is rare for me to be able to have time do anything like the kind of thinking about who to buy that I've done this year. On my 3rd or 4th full re-draft team already. Not buying Schweinsteiger this year, anyroad.

I don't subscribe to the tipster sites, I can always spot the people in the work league who do (apart from them being top, I mean- you spy these odd leftfield transfers that all of them have done in the same week).

                        Other good names I've seen:

Me, Matz Sels and I (he seems to be Newcastle's new Belge keeper)

                        and Dirty Pretty Ings

                          What is Mano a Mano?

Mano a mano is a head to head league where you play another league member and the highest scorer wins, rather than a high score league. You don't have to enter another team, just sign up with your current one.

Presumably then, a mano a mano league must have a restricted number of teams, given there's only so many fixture weeks?

I don't think so. It just means that you might play some of th other managers only once or if the league has more than 38 then not at all.

This transfer window bollocks is messing up my carefully purchased 15.

E.g. Ayew is a nailed-on mid-price starter every week for Swansea. How likely is that early season at West Ham?

So a player in red means they are injured but what does yellow mean, suspended?
