Has Various Artist watched Free Solo yet? I can find a way to share it if he cannot find it. Hell, I watched it again to certainly be my most deliberately viewed motion picture of all time (US TV means I have seen Beetlejuice a LOT and I am not mad)
Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been working my way through this thread in instalments all day but keep (often as a direct result of it) disappearing off down internet rabbit holes in pursuit of everything from the Bloms and Casa na Bolom to the pronunciation of Suffolk placenames to the disappearance of Salisbury bus station to local radio transmitter power levels to Fermat's Last Theorem. The latter could practically have been solved in the length of time it's taken me to actually get around to firstly finding this post and secondly replying to it.
Short answer, though, no I haven't. But I'd be open to discovering ways and means...!
I don't think I've tried it on my phone. The idea of trying to peer at details of these pictures on my 6.4" phone screen versus my 27-inch computer monitor out of choice seems a little too perverse.
I've occasionally tried looking on a phone. Seeing the pictures themselves is challenging, but I really have a problem pootling around in Streetview on the phone.
I don't really have any option apart from my phone. I'm usually wandering round the house simultaneously doing something else (sorting the laundry currently). I have a work laptop but can't access OTF on that. We have a home laptop but that's almost always being used by either my husband (mostly work, sometimes gaming), my daughter (watching YouTube art tutorials, making her own RPG games, playing Google Doodle games, doing homework, making PowerPoint presentations about the fart apocalypse with her friend, etc) or my son (mostly playing maths games). We desperately need to get another laptop for the house.

Yeah I've given up trying to use StreetView on my phone. If I'm on the move I might pop in the thread every now and then to look at the pictures but there's no way I could find the actual locations just using my phone.
I'm usually playing on either my good PC or my crappy 8-year-old laptop with a broken keyboard (whose graphics capabilities struggle with StreetView to be honest but at least the interface is usable)
Her ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to her newsletter.
She's currently doing her homework. It's slightly boring English grammar so she's trying to liven it up. She's been asked to insert a relative clause into the sentence "Max lives in Wales" so it now reads "Max, who is a 97 year old earthworm and enjoys eating snails for breakfast, lives in Wales."
What sort of tools are right and wrong to use in this game? I have an answer based on using Google Lens on the big shiny gold thing, but that doesn't seem the right way to go about things.
Yeah, I reckon it's not the right thing to do. For example, I just randomly clicked several pages back to SB's picture of a church and Lens was like, 'that's Iola, Kansas's church' which probably isn't in the spirit of things.
