Showing my ignorance there but I'm taken aback by how poor so much of Peru looks outside Lima. Loads of areas seem to consist of nothing but villages of half-built shells covered in dust, not what I pictured at all

So, earlier yesterday Toby Gymshorts documented his (live) resistance to taking a trip to Popeye Village while on vacation. I immediately poked around on Streetview and was surprised how completely unsuspecting the place was until you actually got a view over the cliff to look in (and even then it looks a little weird).

I guess no one else put it up on Streetview, otherwise it would have been quite obvious. It might be a while before I get to use wherever Sporting is talking about on a given day.
