My recent good form continues even out-of-competition today, with a fine chip-and-run all the way to the hole for birdie:

What's nice is that my improvement of late has actually dragged me back under par in Wordle overall for the first time in ages:
1 0
2 10
3 54
4 64
5 35
6 11
[7 4]
Which gives me a 179-hole score of -5, I think, counting my four failures as 7s at least. Had the PARER day continued to its natural conclusion, it might well have left me back over par single-handedly, mind.
Had I clocked earlier I reach 180 tomorrow, that would've been the better day to work this out of course – the equivalent of 10 full rounds of 'real' golf, or 20 in typical OTF Wordle competition.
Don't normally come on this thread, but cross-posting this for irony towers and Uncle Ethan given the direction the final hole of our matchplay match has just taken.
Drove off the tee straight into the trees, but redeemed myself with a great escape shot. Only to let myself down with the putter and take a 4 after all.

Updating my overall Wordle tally from yesterday to see where I stand after a nice round figure of 180 holes reveals, however, that I must have forgotten one 'bust' because my total number of scores recorded – not including failures – only adds up to 175. So it must be five '7s', not four, meaning the grand total comes back even nearer to level par at a mere -2.
