Yesterday – my day-off eagle was inevitably followed by a frustrating 3-putt as soon as we got back into competition:

Today – straight into a bunker with the tee shot, and splashed out with sand flying everywhere, but fortunately somehow it skipped on down the slope to stop only yards short of the green. My chip then held up a foot from the hole to allow a tap-in for par:

Getting that M in play was vital, having seen the trouble others got into with _A_ER on this hole.

I work on the perhaps misguided assumption that an S is more likely to come at the end of a word than at the beginning.
