Wordle solutions and SPOILERS thread

Are people sticking to the same opening word every day? I'm trying to win my matches but tbh don't really care and find it more fun to vary.

I use the same word every day*, mostly because I've now convinced myself that if I change today it will be the day that the word I've been using every day is the day that it comes up. I imagine there is a fair chance that it already came up before Wordle suddenly became a thing, and I'm totally wasting my time.

(* In wordle. I use different starting words in some of the multi-wordle versions such as Quordle and Octordle)

Different word every day. I expect I've reused a few by now, but I like trying to think of a new one each morning.

I rotate through a relatively small bunch of starters most of the time, but occasionally throw in a completely different one. Like Rogin, I try to pick one that's relatively dissimilar to yesterday's solution.

Though had I started with WACKY today, of course, I think it's fair to say I might have got to FLOCK rather quicker than I did:

Bunkered my tee shot then bollocksed up my first attempt to splash out, so have to be both relieved I then pitched out to within six feet whilst also a bit frustrated at yet another day without a birdie. First time in a good while I've forgotten to move a yellow letter on the next try:
