The fifth race:
This oval track race is expected to feature the fastest racers, times, and words yet.
Imagine if you will a race divided into parts, for arguments sake, lets just pick a number, say 15. Sure, 15 parts. So 15 times around the track is the race. Each racer responsible for maximizing each pass around the track, perhaps we say that's effort. Like 10 out of 10 is maximum effort.
So, continuing this line of thought, if a racer that can put forward maximum effort for all 15 rounds, would put out a max 'word race' of 150. Easy!
Alas, doping officials have decided to focus on this race, keying in on those that might be using 'new-gen' word formulation, the EPO of the sport. "But every Llull is using," you might say. HA! says the federation, cheaters never prosper unless they are the Houston Astros!
As this is a completely secret investigation, every competitive team knows and has time to prepare their racing teams and machines to avoid detection... er, I mean ensure the cleanliness of the competition, and as such also knows not to have two consecutive '10's (e.g. two consecutive perfect scoring letters) or they will be likely to be pulled aside and forced to undergo immediate deconstruction of their mechanics and chemical analysis of their canteens. Delays would be inevitable should this occur.
Three consecutive '10's could mean, to be fairly warned, expulsion from the venue entirely. A fate no man could ever want, unless they found themselves in attendance at a Guns and Roses concert, circa anytime in the 21st century.
"Beware the consecutive 10s!" someone might say if trying to warn the obviously super-clean racing teams.

Welcome to Balderdasha and Patrick Thistle .
Currently have 15 entries for the last race of the week. I think that takes us to 21 (!!!!!) total racers. I'm assuming our season leader hasn't just declared and wandered off to have a marmalade toast, so everyone missing get your 'totally not doped to the gills' entry in sometime in the next 5-10 hours.
