I'm considering at some point opening up a separate competition for which country will be the last one where Covid-19 was recorded, but to then become free of Covid-19. Though I'm not sure if the whole world will ever be free of Covid-19 now. It's taken long enough to try and eradicate polio, and if Covid-19 mutates to be less aggressive, more like seasonal flu, we're unlikely to bother completely eradicating it.

Indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon have contracted Covid-19. If it reaches uncontacted tribes, it could go very badly for them.

If I was the kind of nerd concerned about who was "winning", I'd award it to the highest population countries still in the game. But with an immense Kratochvilova and Flo-Jo sized asterisk next to longeared's winning North Korea.
Hobbes's Vanuatu would be winning without the Korean cheats. And then Wouter's Samoa.
