OK so now I'm focusing on those two could-be-spires in the background. Are we on the Rhine in Cologne? But I suspect the Rhine would be somewhat bigger/busier than that. Maybe Chartres?

It doesn't look like any of the bridges over the Main in FFM

In case future time travellers/invaders from Mars stumble across this thread and care two hoots I'm going to put them out of their misery. The first bridge is in Jacksonville, Florida; the second bridge in Hamburg; and the stadium is (was?) in St Louis.

Gah, I thought that was Busch stadium in the back of my head. Couldn't trust my instincts.

The upper arches should have been a tip-off as well. A bit iconic looking, but the whole thing was knocked down in 2005.
