The away Nike kits look better than the home ones. That England shirt looks like a training top. The Dutch kit looks too shiny and gold rather than orange and the French home shirt looks more slate grey than blue. When did French national sides (well, football and rugby) start wearing much darker shades of blue?

That photo upthread doesn't do the full horror of the Dutch kit justice.

Croatia home kit isn't going to see any action in the group stage as the other three teams all have red first and white change shirts.

I don't often comment on the kit threads, but I just want to say how wrong the centrally placed crest on the US shirt is.

Wales, Netherlands, Canada and perhaps Portugal are doing okay with both kits. Serbia looks okay, too.

Germany's kits are just wrong. And why is adidas still talking about "Die Mannschaft"? Bierhoff's desperate marketing term has been abolished.

Portugal's are the best international kits I've seen in some time. Clear, un-fussy, yet not at all retro in appeal.
