    Tournament sponsors that mystify you

What is an Antchain, and will it make any meaningful difference to my life to know what said company is?

It's a mesh used to mark out different areas of ant farms.

TikTok seem to be spunking money on adverts everywhere (including the electronic hoardings) to try and get people on their platform. Is that because they're trying to get into the commodified personal data industry cos that's where the money is?

There was a father and son in front of me at the game today both wearing what I took to be Wolfsburg shirts as there were large VW logos and a touch of green on them.

It turned out they were VW/Euro 2020 promotional shirts but there was far more prominence for the sponsor than the tournament.

Who wears that kind of thing, especially to an actual match?

There was a few stories I read about TikTok helping people work out they were ADHD based on the algorithms (more from tracking what they watched).

It is more data as targeted advertising for tiktok I believe.

Someone attending the tournament thanks to VW's largesse, most likely a first timer and someone who is already an employee/dealer

I did ponder that and thought they might have been to a pre-match VW jolly where they picked them up:

Still, who would do such a thing? I've enjoyed plenty of corporate hospitality in my time and never felt the need to carry advertising for them in return.

                          Thus the first timer/employee suggestion

Definitely a sophisticated consumer of corporate hospitality, nor a Londoner

I sincerely hope that you were wearing your WSC Euro t-shirt.
