What the fucking hell is going on at Bournemouth?

Six wins on the bounce, perhaps the form team in the entire league, and in with a reasonable shout of avoiding a once-inevitable looking relegation, which they'd have avoided comfortably had they not gone into admin. What's the story here anyone?

Dunno, but I'm torn between wanting them to come down and join us for a nice trip to nowhere-near-the-seaside and wanting them to stay up after this run.

We were clearly doomed after defeat at Gillingham.

The first two wins were dead-cat-bounce stuff. The two goals in injury time at Swansea were dead-cat-acrobatics. For the next three games we've had a settled side and a bit of confidence for the first time all season.

We're bound to fuck it up next Saturday though. We always do on the last day of the season. Either that or we'll heroically stay up only to go out of business within a couple of weeks.

But it's been fun while it lasted.

I see they're at Carlise. Might be worth popping up the M6 for.

Well, you'll not be able to get there by train...

M'colleague in the office (whose drift away from attending Bournemouth games after 46 years of pretty dedicated support hardened in to a complete boycott once Kevin Bond was appointed) will be flying to Prestwick and then hiring a car to drive down to Brunton Park for his first Cherries match in over three years.

            It will end in tears.

Oh, and apparently the club don't have the money for an overnighter so the team coach will be leaving at 5am on the morning of the game.

Their game on Saturday ended in a certain amount of controversy according to a mate at work who follows Crewe

Apparently the injury time board went up for 3 mins. There was a corner which was handled by an attacking player after 1 of those 3 mins, the ref blew for a free kick, but the crowd (thinking it was the final whistle) invaded the pitch

The players were taken off, and didn't return and a PA announcement had to be made to tell everyone the game was over.
