    Chris O'Grady (one for GO)

Is he any good? We're being linked with him, but based on what's been posted on the Oldham forums he sounds a bit of an arrogant sod and more trouble than he'd be worth.

He's not popular at Millmoor at the moment 'cos he wouldn't take the wage deferral that was asked of all our players. I don't blame him particularly, but I do think that he was being a little naive as he's now got a(n unwarranted) reputation as "a bit of an arrogant sod and more trouble than he's worth". Probably agent trouble. I think that he'll be good for you.

When we left Millmoor last Saturday at five-to-six, he was being made to run round the pitch on his own, as he's not being picked to play for the first team at the moment.

Ah. Slightly hard done-to but not helping himself. Is he actually a decent player? Tricky creative type/targetman/poacher?

He's a reasonably good fourth division forward, usually with a positive attitude and good work-rate. Just what you want...

The next Paul Warne would be nice, just with a few more goals.

I think you'll notice that I just described Paul Warne...

That'll be me being slow on the uptake again!
