I think we need a moratorium on statues, partiuclarly football ones.
I mean it's pretty straightforward to scan somebody's head nowadays.

It's so funny. Why do people get the sculptor equivalent of that Spanish Fresco restorer to make football statues?

You're onto something there. They weren't exactly likenesses you could use in a court of law either.

That'd be a good quiz actually--match the Corinthian head to the player (without being able to see the shirt).

#3 is 100% 'Bryan C*nting F*cking W*nkshot Ferry' - as he was once memorably re-christened on these pages.
#5 - Tony Blair?
(The theme then being 'political traitors'?)

As I imagined, I'm struggling with this. I think #7 is Theo Walcott. Is #4 Paul McGrath?

Although #3 looks nothing like him, the only Ireland player with a side-parting I can think of is Ray Houghton.

Afraid it's not Ray. He was on the pitch when 'that goal' went in though.

Afraid not - this round is RoI only, too.
