The NI squad announced today includes two men born in the 1970s. If Aaron Hughes plays against Bosnia and/ or Israel it will be his 22nd successive season as a senior international. Quite unbelievable really. Meanwhile, fellow greybeard McAuley hopes to have actually found a club before the break.

The squad includes 3 other men who've been regulars since 2006- Davis, Evans (still only 30) and big Laugherty

Well that was a lively weekend. Swarmed over Bosnia for 96 minutes all we had to show was a consolation at the end. Then saw off a very lacklustre Israel with flying winger Whyte scoring with his debut first touch. To cap it all our u-21 won 2-1 in Spain and can still make the play-offs
