He's been a player for us and our manager several times. Pretty much a club legend, and when things click he does very well.

I was a big fan of Sheridan as a player. Best wishes to him in the job.

Bob Dorrian has stood down as Lincoln chairman this week. Cue lots of eulogies from fans about how wonderful he is, forgetting some of the dreadful managerial appointments he made before finally getting it right. In fairness he did eventually find investors willing to put money into the club but there has been an awful lot of revisionism going on.

Sigh. It's this thread for me this year. Hopefully not the National League next year.

At a time when Bury's board were saying we'd be preparing for life in the Championship, this thread title is a jolt down to earth.

Looking forward to visiting the Railway View again though.

Should be an interesting season for us next season.

Gary Johnson is having to work very hard to get the fanbase back on side and noises are being made about actually having a stab at the playoffs. To aid this we have made 7 new signings already and now have only one player who was on the books when we won the Conference in 2016 (Rhys Lovett, who was 3rd choice keeper).

We've apparently turned down big fees for Mo Eisa, but he will be off at some point this summer so we're going to need to sort something up front. We've already missed out on Andy Williams to Northampton though, so it doesn't look promising.
