Which makes the point that asking Visa applicants "where did you get all your money from" is a significant but small step (given how long Russian money has been here) in trying to put some sort of checks and balances around mysterious money. Essentially, this putting a bolt on the stable door even though the horses have already gone and built their iceberg homes in Kensington.
