Ah yes, I'd forgotten you went every evening during the Worlds – so by definition we'd have been there on the same day, no matter when I went! I only went to that morning session though so we wouldn't have been in the stadium at the same time... notwithstanding the seeming hours it took me to get out of there at lunchtime. Come the evening session I was back at the relatives' flat in Hampstead where I stayed overnight before and after, which, considering how flat we all felt after watching the men's 100m final on TV, was probably better than having forked out for tickets.
Nice to hear you made it to the Hackney Wick game even if I didn't though. Yes, I saw the other month that they're moving to the Olympic Park's 'other' ground, which makes a sort of sense although it's a shame they're leaving somewhere with such heritage.
