Nuneaton's chairman has stepped down with immediate effect, put the club and the ground up for sale and says they're changing name back to Nuneaton Borough.

Meanwhile we've managed to finish 11th, just scraping a top-half finish. Top 2 budget, running at a loss in excess of £1m it seems, outstanding effort by all concerned. Last season at Bootham Crescent next season but I won't be going to any home games unless there's a change of ownership/board – can no longer justify throwing my money at this absurd regime.

Southport have sacked Kevin Davies. Probably the correct decision - he managed to put a decent run together in January/ February but otherwise had poor results and led the club to its lowest league finish in about thirty years. Admittedly he didn't have an easy job, having to oversee a large turnover in personnel mid season as the club ownership changed. Perhaps in a more stable situation elsewhere he might be able to develop his managerial ability, much as how Paul Cook did at Sligo after being sacked by Southport.
