Just went to the BBC page giving live coverage of Guardiola's first press conference as Man City manager.

The accompanying BBC text said he'd just started questions in Spanish. I'm about 99 per cent sure he was actually speaking Catalan.

My two shittest:-

1. Leaving England U21s v Turkey at Elm Park early, to go and watch The Paris Angels at Reading Student union. Thre were only three other people at the gig.
2. Some indie night in Nottingham where the DJ just put a Railway Children LP on and then fucked off.

True confessions of a shit one-time DJ: I played Dopesmoker in its entirety at the Star and Garter so I could get stoned in the car park then go and watch my mates' band.

None of the crowd seemed to mind, in fact more than a few were enthused. I was never asked back though.
