Generating football league tables

Hello everyone. Does anyone know a site or program that can be used to generate league tables, i.e. you feed the data in and then it does all the adding up and positioning of the table for you.

What I mean is, if you had a set of results it would be able to generate or update a league table from them.

I guess there's probably some clever way of doing this in Excel, but my Excel skills are a bit poor.

There are lots of Excel templates online that you can download--might be worth uploading them to Google Drive or Office 365 (assuming they still function on the online versions), then everyone has a shared link.
