    Congratulations Margate - Ryman 14/15

Well, the FA's judgement over the Enfield fiasco is now online:

    http://www.thefa.com/~/media/files/pdf/the%20fa%202014-15/written%20reasons/enfield-town-fc-written-reasons.ashx?la=en

And it seems that they only recommended a warning in this case. So, I guess the question is... why has the Ryman League gone to the trouble of postponing the play-offs when the FA's recommendation is not for a points deduction that would influence who plays who?

No axe to grind with Kingstonian or AFCW but I'd just like to point out that he won the Ryman with Hayes too. And we certainly had no structural advantage over the rest of the league. The changes he made at Church Road were huge and although his last season with us was pretty grim, the experiences that went before are still looked back on fondly by Hayes/H&Y fans. Yes, we got the Les Ferdinand 600k in the summer of 1995 but the lion's share of that went on ground improvements and our championship-winning side (and the side that went on to finish third in the Conference) were thanks to Terry Brown.

It's a league sanction, not an FA one.

The League Rule 6.9 states “Any Club found to have played an ineligible player in a match shall have any points gained from that match deducted from its record and have levied upon it a fine”.

            Enfield deducted three points.

Absolute fucking farce and completely unfair.

Ryman league circling its wagons. Whom do Enfield appeal to? The league again?

Bollocks, although no less bollocks than Boreham Wood's playoff win over us being allowed to stand despite one of their fans running on the pitch and punching our captain in the face.

Is that who they appeal to?

They might as well, for all the difference it'll likely make.

Somebody said to me on Twitter that "a concerned party" had said that they would appeal if Enfield weren't deducted three points as it was "too lenient," which, if true, is more likely to be bloody Met Police than anybody else, isn't it?
