Terrific goal, especially when executed with tired and heavy limbs at the very end of the game. He was bad for most of the game, but two goals more than make up for it.
Our overall performance was shocking though. We were no better than Georgia, who are makeweights and easily the worst team in the group (discounting Gibraltar, who are a novelty act).

Actually he never scored against Bosnia in the friendly before Euro 2012 -- my mind is playing tricks. He was man of the match in it.
This game was very reminiscent of other close shaves in the former USSR, in Kazakhstan and Armenia. Lots of huffing and puffing which ultimately culminated in a late and undeserved winner.Comment
