Once again our ownerships buy young&low and cross their fingers policy fails due to a lack of attacking options. Ross Stewart out until Oct and only 10 goals from 11 games last season replaced this season by a 19yr old from Benfica B and an 18yr old French iirc kid who did his hamstring the morning after signing. We played the last four months of last season with no recognised striker and to start this season in the same predicament will cost us.
Ref missed two pens one for each team and sent our idiot RB Hume off for two silly yellows yet never booked one of their lads for two similar challenges to Humes second.
13 mins injury time played after second half. Travelling fans are gonna have to reconsider their plans all over the country. It certainly narrows down my retirement options up there. Catch the 17:05 and it’s possible to be on the lash in Whitby by 19:30Last edited by Sunderporinostesta; 06-08-2023, 20:07.

Sorry for your loss sfd. On the rare occasions I get back to Portman Road I always feel Dad is with me and remember Mum's rare decisions to join us (yes, I'm talking about Lazio at home). I hope over time the sadness will be balanced by remembering the good times you had all together at football.

Corberan was sent off on Saturday. He didn't give a post-game interview. Only a couple of days later did I find out that new FA rules brought in this season exclude non-playing staff from giving interviews if they have received a red card in the game. So Jed Wallace, our new captain has to come out and do post-match media duties. All very bizarre.Last edited by Jon; 12-08-2023, 08:09.

Leicester's new manager unafraid to assert himself. From BBC Sport's Leicester correspondent::-
"I just asked Enzo Maresca why Daka, Castagne, Souttar & Soumare were not in the squad today, but there were 2 keepers on the bench. He said that it was a mix of technical/tactical decisions AND that he felt it better for other to be out the squad for personal reasons."
Ipswich and Leicester the only teams with 100% records after two games.
