That's fine to start with but the following season when he's become a regular first team player he should change. If he wants to wear 66 he should keep playing for the academy side. This was his 4th full season in the first team?

      Yes.

Gambling is very much haraam under Islam, it's on a par with alcohol so Newcastle's next sponsor will be not fun-related

        Gambling isn't fun.

Tell that to the banty bantz lads having a whale of a time going to the bookies or keeping track of their winnings via the app on the adverts, or the cheerful choirs extolling the virtues of free spins on the online casinos.

A variation on that was Derek Riordan on his second spell at Hibs, when his preferred number 10 was already taken but all the keepers in the squad had gone for big numbers, so Riordan had 01 on his shirt.

In other news, seems Puma may be persisting with that utterly risible template from last season, but sticking the club badges on as well as the team names...

              Needs more sponsors

The styling of the sleeve sponsor puts me in mind of Various Artist's avatar, but the BB before it means I'm now reading it as a mashup with Big Boobs and FIRE!, and you have to agree, it is a powerful image.

From a balance perspective that template is not going to work well with clubs that lack a Scudetto equivalent (which could well be the case for Peñarol after the conclusion of the current Apertura.

Unless this is a joke I'm not getting, isn't that Aramark?

I think it was an attempt at a joke

                        And yes, it is Aramark

No, 3CR is right, just some misattribution at play.

I was treading carefully there - I've been whooshed too often recently.

This is a collaboration I could get behind!

New England kits in time for the Euros

The change kit is "bright crimson"

I like the first kit, especially the details like the effect on the badge and the 'ENG' on the socks. Shorts should be blue though.

The change is a dull training shirt though, and the colour looks very Dutch on my screen.

No, it isn't. It's something like apricot.

And could do without yet another betting firm sponsor.

Going back a few pages here... there was a feature about this in 11 Freunde a couple of years back. Telekom allowed one of the magazine's journalists to be a person in white for the day. The whole depressing experience was hilariously written up - how you couldn't leave your seat during the game even if you needed to pee badly, because you would break up the T. How he felt like the back-end of a pantomime horse in the stupid white outfit. How the other ticket holders were all Telekom employees who'd won Worker of the Week or something, and most of whom didn't give a toss about Bayern or football. The reporter's attempts to get any football conversation going were a bust. I doubt that Telekom will grant another hack accreditation to sit among the privileged few.

I can also confirm that I am sadly not the sponsor of York City's shirt.

Yes, as someone whose university colour was crimson, I can conclusively say that that ain't it folks
