That should be banned as far as I'm concerned. Then again every time I see the back of Trent Alexander-Arnold's shirt, I feel like someone's walking on my grave. How the hell is that even allowed. Squads are limited to 24/25 players. I don't even think 2 is in use. There was a rule in the football league that stopped it happening. I think in the Premier League (but not the EFL?) you can't have higher than your highest existing number plus [relatively small number]. But because TAA came up from the academy rather rapidly, he was still wearing the sort of number they give to kids so they know whose training top is whose.Comment
