Lazio, Lokomotiv Moscow, Marseille and Galatasaray are drawn together in Group G. That's going to be... interesting.

Galatasaray have been poor this season and are down a player, suspended by the club and banned for 8 matches for hitting a team mate.

I presume Snake was more thinking about the fans.

            I'm sure that he was

The Galatasaray matches away and OM's visit will be the most problematic. Lazio don't take huge numbers away, but any of the Turkish big four can count on massive support away (though perhaps not in Russia)

A lot of hot air really, Putin telling Erdoğan about the coup against him improved relations.

They do have an awful lot in common

So the match at the RZD Arena may be tasty after all

Barn burner in Sevilla between Betis and Celtic

3-2 to the home side after 50 minutes.

I am virtually certain that Betis are wearing royal blue as a pisstake.

                      4-2 now

Spurs took Kane and Moura off after 54 mins at Rennes, with the score at 1-1. I'd have thought you'd use Kane as impact sub if he was only going to get half a game in the B-side.

Perez put Leicester one up on Napoli. Good sizzling game so far, both sides look threatening going forward. Soumare and Daka making their first Leicester starts.

PSV and Real Sociedad trade goals about half an hour in to an attractive match in Eindhoven (also proper lite for once)

OL go ahead at Ibrox with a lovely goal

Isak catches the Dutch defence napping and converts a deflected cross to put La Real up 2-1

Insigne is such a good player to watch.

He is as long as he keeps shooting like that. Leicester 1-0 up at the break having allowed Napoli a large number of chances, most of which were blazed high over the bar. Can't keep defending like that.

Now 2-1 Leicester, a great goal from Barnes for the home side and a fantastic one by Osimhen for Napoli.

When they talk about an unspoken plague of players struggling with sleeping pill addiction, are they talking about soyuncu? What has happened to him, he's a shambling mess and has been for the guts of six months

You're not wrong, though his booking tonight was kind of Tielemans' fault for putting him in trouble. I suspect long COVID, think he caught it on international duty last season.

Tielemans' free kick was inexplicable, but soyuncu didn't have to do that!

Has he been replaced by lorenzo amoruso?

Our defence has been shit all season. Fofana getting crocked really fucked us up, I hope Villareal get thumped in all their European games.

Napoli deserved the point, at least.
