There's still a twist in this, I'm sure.

Nah. City don't lose games like this.

The excellently named Smallbone is on for Soton.

I can't imagine school was much fun with that name.

It's the hope that kills you.

Well played, Liverpool. Congratulations Man City.

Fucking hell, how stupid do you look trying to cling on to Gundogan like a horny Jack Russell whilst two stewards are try to escort him to the tunnel.

In retrospect, I think the best part of today was that moment when Rogin believed.

Your team wins the title in dramatic style and you sing about Steve Gerrard. Twats.

                        Commiserations Snake Plissken

I have a long standing soft spot for Leeds, but it's a shame that they survive at the expense of Burnley who have probably been the closest thing you can get at this level of the game to 'sticking it to the man' for a few seasons now. Maybe someone like Brentford can take over that mantle.

Ah bollocks, that's a shame Snake Plissken

Genuine commiserations to the Burnley fans, I’d have much preferred Lampard’s under-performing stars to go down. But the main sympathy of the day has to go to Pebble. For weeks he’d been looking forward to Brentford sending us down and, tragically, that just didn’t work out for him!

Too many times the wrong side of the small margins. That was our season.

Gutted for you Snake Plissken - please don't come for Mickey.

Oh pissflaps. 9 year old me wanted Liverpool to win the league.

When was that then? I've said all along and in particular all today that we were never going to beat the sportswashing cunts, especially after being 14 points behind in January. So stop imagining you know what I was thinking, whatever you were doing, you weirdo.

Shame for Burnley, but now we get to find out whether ALK Capital are as much a bunch of total chancers as I've long suspected.

I'd say Leeds are a strong bet to go down next season instead. Marsch is no upgrade on Bielsa apart from when he hilariously starts quoting Mother Teresa after another defeat. They're going to lose Raphinha, Phillips has been linked with half the division, they've got very little other genuine Premier League quality. They're going to have to run just to stand still in the summer.

Congratulations Man City, once we'd drawn the game at their place it always felt like a tall order to win the league. Coming from behind on the final day like that was a performance of champions and only the flintiest of hearts would say you didn't deserve it.

And commiserations to Burnley, I've mellowed towards them since Carlisle no longer lock horns with them on a regular basis, they did give hope to fans of smaller clubs that the Premier league was achievable and so was staying there for more than one season. Ashley Barnes can still GTF though.

Can’t fault longeared’s analysis of Leeds’ prospects above. Can only hope that our board have similar insight and take the necessary action. And that Kalvin feels the love and follows his heart.

What a finish indeed. Great to be back in the CL and in it under Conte.

Congrats to Sonny, as well - if there’s one trophy my lot are quite good at winning, it’s the Golden Boot.

Really torn today. Went into it hoping Liverpool wouldn't win, only to find myself laughing heartily when city were two goals down. Still, probably the best result in the end.

Would have been nice if Leeds went down, but i'll take Burnley getting relegated. A real thorn in our side over the years, plus my ex boss supports them, and anything that makes him sad is fine by me.

Bit ultimately I'm just fucking delighted this awful season is finally over.

Sympathies to snake. OTOH I'd much rather have Burnley as visitors next season than Leeds fans.
