I have a long standing soft spot for Leeds, but it's a shame that they survive at the expense of Burnley who have probably been the closest thing you can get at this level of the game to 'sticking it to the man' for a few seasons now. Maybe someone like Brentford can take over that mantle.

Genuine commiserations to the Burnley fans, I’d have much preferred Lampard’s under-performing stars to go down. But the main sympathy of the day has to go to Pebble. For weeks he’d been looking forward to Brentford sending us down and, tragically, that just didn’t work out for him!

Shame for Burnley, but now we get to find out whether ALK Capital are as much a bunch of total chancers as I've long suspected.
I'd say Leeds are a strong bet to go down next season instead. Marsch is no upgrade on Bielsa apart from when he hilariously starts quoting Mother Teresa after another defeat. They're going to lose Raphinha, Phillips has been linked with half the division, they've got very little other genuine Premier League quality. They're going to have to run just to stand still in the summer.

Congratulations Man City, once we'd drawn the game at their place it always felt like a tall order to win the league. Coming from behind on the final day like that was a performance of champions and only the flintiest of hearts would say you didn't deserve it.
And commiserations to Burnley, I've mellowed towards them since Carlisle no longer lock horns with them on a regular basis, they did give hope to fans of smaller clubs that the Premier league was achievable and so was staying there for more than one season. Ashley Barnes can still GTF though.

Really torn today. Went into it hoping Liverpool wouldn't win, only to find myself laughing heartily when city were two goals down. Still, probably the best result in the end.
Would have been nice if Leeds went down, but i'll take Burnley getting relegated. A real thorn in our side over the years, plus my ex boss supports them, and anything that makes him sad is fine by me.
Bit ultimately I'm just fucking delighted this awful season is finally over.
