France's over-age pick André-Pierre Gignac (35) is an OIHSTP, he's still at Tigres in Mexico, along with fellow over-age olympian Florian Thauvin.

And some interest for me in former Iron player Clayton Lewis, who makes the NZ squad. He wasn't quite up to Scunthorpe's level, no really, in his two years 2017-2019, but we maybe we inspired him, he's now in the A League with Wellington.

Some interesting names in the Brazil squad.

I'm pleased to see that Claudinho, the best player currently active in Brazil, is there. I can only assume the reason he is not already in Europe is that Red Bull Bragantino are just about the only Brazilian club under no financial pressure to sell.

One of Brazil's over age players is 38 year old Dani Alves.

They faced each other last night as Bragantino beat São Paulo to return to the top of the league.

I'm not sure that Everton will be too happy that Richarlison has been called up.
