I'd be an awful lot more behind the initiative if clubs didn't needlessly wear their change kits for so many away games anyway.

With perhaps the most amazingly early leak of 22-23, Manchester City are apparently going blue with maroon highlights (home) and red and black stripes (second). The third will be something awful again.
Frankly they should just rotate maroon or red and black stripes for the away. It would sell well every time.

They were ordered to by UEFA and the SFA in the mid 90s after various telly companies complained it was difficult to tell the players apart.
Celtic at first tried to get away with just having small numbers on the sleeves (claiming it was indeed shirt numbering), but were told to stop mucking about and put full-sized numbers on the backs like everyone else.

For the past four or five years Doncaster's 3rd shirt has been produced to support CALM and men's mental health, with our main shirt sponsor (currently LNER) donating their shirt space for the charity. This is this season's effort, a blacked out kit, apparently produced in co-operation with a number of local musicians. The idea being that the signs of mental health aren't always visible on the surface.
Design-wise I don't think much to it, but as a concept I like it, as it's likely to get noticed beyond Doncaster in the game its worn in, helping to prompt discussions about CALM and their aims.
Bit galling to see Coppinger on the pitch wearing it mind, at a time when we're crying out for him to be involved on the field in a playing capacity.

Over in Japan, JEF United Chiba have switched suppliers to Hummel, their design for 2022 paying homage to JEF's kit from the early years of the J-League.

I realised last night that the white design on Crewe's shirt seems to be oat plants referencing their sponsor. You'd think that might be breaking the old Coventry/Talbot ruling from the early days of shirt sponsorship :
