I look forward to the Austin Powers themed change kit.

It could be seen as a callback to their very first kit in the second tier, pre-Hechter, except that was red
Though I think the better reading is that it is the result of giving the Jordan Brand designers free rein to apply their basketball-based design principles to a football kit, as further evidenced by the detail on the shorts

Christ, logos that don't have the name of the thing they are representing are generally so much better than the alternative. Just look at baseball caps, you don't need it spelled out, just have a distinctive letterform.
(yes I have been getting annoyed at the quality of 1st class county merch, most of whom insist on putting the name of the county under some decent icons*)
*Does not apply to counties using roses.

The Arsenal yeĺlow which they've "dropped" is described as "pearl citrine pale yellow". They always have the classiest colour descriptions.
The cannon is facing the "wrong" way compared to 1971 because the club embarrassed themselves in a trademark infringement case against an unofficial merchandise seller 20 or so years ago, the court deciding that the club didn't own the left facing cannon. So they flipped it and trademarked that.
Anyway, lovely kit and the thread leader so far for me, Clive.
