It's not the "first kit in history with a QR code" though. There is at least one earlier on this thread and references to prior ones too.

I am not quite sure why they are taking that line (except in the hope of more publicity). Taking a ditch at Qatar on human rights and sportswashing in association with Amnesty is only a good thing mind.

You're right I think it's bloody awful. As an aside, I don't know why they have Rob Cornwall modelling it, everyone knew he was heading to the USA, and his signing for a club in Colorado was announced today as well.

Hang on, that's a bloody great shirt!

Though I suppose I can understand, if not share, an objection to dropping the stripes.

A lot of people agree with you, first batch of every size up to large men's sold out in three hours.

In some ways, they've done the Belgium thing better than the Belgians.

Though the dark green background and lighting made me check whether there was green in the kit (answer seems to be no).

I thought the same. That would have made for an even better shirt, though obviously an unacceptably radical departure from Bohs' kit history.

Looking at a selection of their old shirts, this one is way better than a lot of their previous deviations from stripes, and a lot of the striped ones too.

It would be a better fit for Plymouth, surely....

Ipswich will be in black tomorrow at Wigan, to reflect the current mood at the club.

That "X" just doesn't match the typeface of the rest of Sheeran's stuff.

J-League third tier side Kataller Toyama launch their 2022 kit (L-R training, GK home, away, GK away, home).

Another J3 club, Kagoshima United, have taken an unusual route to the design and manufacture of their 2022 shirt, using a Mitsubishi subsidiary rather than a sportswear brand for production and thus greatly reducing the cost to the customer (Japanese replica shirts are terrifyingly expensive). The shirt makes use of local kimono designs and indeed designers - on the face of it a nice idea, but it's getting the club some unwelcome attention from abroad, to which they have felt it necessary to respond in English. You may be able to spot why.

have the lessons of Fiorentina away been forgotten already?

Well, I'm guessing old Fiorentina shirts were a million miles away from the thoughts of kimono designers and the staff of a small club in provincial Japan.

Meanwhile Jubilo Iwata, promoted back to J1 for the 2022 season, have switched to Admiral for their new shirt.

Now there's a template we haven't seen for 40 years.

They actually brought it back a few season ago. I'm racking my brain to recall which clubs had it.

That's similar but I recall an actual Admiral recent template that was a direct reference to the original.

I think it was only used by a few lower level clubs though.

I assume this was the original?

I'm wearing a casual shirt with an Admiral logo on as I type. Sainsbury's clothing arm have the UK rights I believe.

                                          (Don't judge me.)

The bloke on the right is quite clearly giving the "wanker" sign with satisfaction in contrast to the ennui-ridden attempts of the others.

My 9 year old son is a big fan of Forest Green Rovers' kits and asked for this hat for Christmas.

Is this the going rate for 4th division paraphernalia these days?
