Thread To Monitor Matches OFF 2020-21

Given the current COVID crisis and bad weather, I feel this needs a dedicated thread rather than putting postponement news** in the main COVID and football thread and individual division threads. Today's casualties (teams with COVID positives shown with asterisk)

    QPR v Wycombe*
    Northampton v Oxford (waterlogged pitch)
Bradford v Crawley (dangerous road conditions)
Harrogate v Exeter (snow, rearranged for Tuesday 19.1.21)
    Mansfield v Carlisle*
Dundee v Ayr (after pitch inspection)
    Raith* v Inverness

**I mean, news of individual postponed games. Blanket suspensions of leagues and cups due to COVID would still go in the COVID thread.

Bradford haven't played yet in 2021 - previous games at Morecambe* and Scunthorpe (frost) were called off as well as the one above.

Shrewsbury* v Lincoln would also have been in the list for Saturday.

Lincoln v Gillingham off tonight due to waterlogged pitch. Very annoying, was looking forward to that.

Wednesday should have been playing Wycombe either tonight or tomorrow, but it's been off for a while. I believe both teams have asterisks

Southampton v Leeds tonight has been bumped so Southampton can play Shrewsbury in the FA Cup.

Wealdstone v Dover is off, but that's because The Stones played Gloucester in the Trophy last night.

Jagger on the wing, Ronnie Wood in attack?

Genuine question, asked out of curiosity rather than snark, what's the purpose of this thread?

I'm well aware that question could be asked of a lot of threads but I do wonder what a list of cancelled games is for?

I would find it useful when these games are eventually played to refer back to when and why they were postponed, and to see if COVID postponements peaked in a particular week.

After our home game against WR'sDC was postponed at the last minute because of ice, the rearrangement was due for tonight. It's just been postponed at the last minute because of water.

Next attempt to be postponed because of steam?

                                    Most postponements ever:

                                    UK:

                                    33: 1962-1963: Airdrie v Stranraer
                                    29: 1978-1979: Inverness Thistle v Falkirk

                                    England:

                                    16: 1962-63: Coventry v Lincoln

Wednesday Swansea tomorrow is off because of a frozen pitch. I'm pretty sure we have undersoil heating, so they must just have forgotten to turn it on (or pay the gas bill, or something)

There's been rumours this week that the undersoil heating has knackered, which is not terribly impressive given that we installed it along with the million quid pitch in summer 2015. The club won't tell us whether or not this is true in case fans are rude about them on Twitter so now a vacuum of information forms which is filled by speculation about the way the club operates as an entity. Though there is part of me that wonders if we're trying to pull a fast one to get Luongo back fit for the rearranged game and have a rest before Stoke away on Tuesday.

Rotherham v QPR and Harrogate Town v Leyton Orient have also been frozen off. This reinforces the post I made on the football / Covid thread last weekend about how in more normal times very little non league would have taken place in the north since the turn of the year what with all the weather.
