Man United v Watford proving as worthy of its prime time slot as you'd expect.

I dunno. It's no different to prime time staples like X Factor or Britain's Got Talent. A few characters with genuine talent, a load of fuck all we'll never hear of again, and a few you suspect have been selected solely because they're rubbish, and we live in a cruel society that sees that as entertainment.

Anyone watching any of the six FA Cup games in progress? I have no TV coverage here. Five Live are doing Crawley v Leeds.

Barnsley v Tranmere on Radio Sheffield:

I agree that all future threads should be "Telly and Wireless Thread" (Snake?)

I've got half an eye on Crawley v Leeds but only because the final score type show with goals as they go in doesn't seem to be on today.

Barnsley 1-0 up. Header by big Polish defender Helik (6′ 4″).

Have switched to Crawley v Leeds.

3-0 - Leeds getting their backsides caned.

Are Leeds playing their full side? Crawley are 6th in the fourth division but have played more games than some teams below them.

Looking forward to the press articles telling us why Bielsa is a managerial genius for having a keeper who can't catch.

Bielsa's genius coming under some scrutiny today. Taking off your uninjured centre back at half time is looking a bit foolish now.

Should have been four, if the Crawley striker knew how to use his left foot.

Has a top flight team ever lost by more than a goal to non-league team in FA cup history?

Barnsley-born Mark Crossley was doing the Radio Sheffield summary. Hear his accent and you will hear mine.

Out of all the Anglos who played for Wales, Crossley's accent always made him seem the most incongruous on the rare occasions interviewed while part of the squad.
