I'm glad I haven't watched a game all season, what a miserable fucking sport.

Fuck that competition. Let them expand it to whatever ludicrous format they want, play all the pointless league games they want, but don’t let them back into their domestic leagues.

Lordy. That bit about Real Madrid not being able to sign Mbappe. And if Mbappe wants to leave PSG his options will be Spurs or Arsenal. Who wouldnt be able to afford him. And these people are seriously allowed to fly kites like this.

Porto deservedly 1-0 up in whatever they're calling the Stadio del Alpi nowadays.

Dortmund score. Celebrations, everyone back to centre line for kick off. VAR check. Goal disallowed. But while doing VAR check they decided there should be penalty for Dortmund for something that happened in the *previous* attack. Dortmund take penalty. Great double save from Sevilla keeper. Sevilla go up the pitch and almost score. VAR tells ref that Sevilla keeper was one cm off line when penalty was taken. Everyone goes back down the other end for the penalty. Dortmund score.

Haaland then gets booked for screaming in the goalkeeper's face. He didn't lick that one off the ground. He may be a massive cunt

Don't blame VAR. blame the players who commit the fouls.

It seems that the goalie shouted at him after the first save. so the keeper is clearly a bit of a cunt too.

Sevilla should have had a penalty right at the end. I'd be furious if i was a sevilla fan.

The keeper was saddled with a nominative cross to bear

Ten man Porto 3-4 up on aggregate with 5 minutes left of extra time.

Juve make it 4-4 but still need a goal.

And Juventus pull one back immediately.

Two injury time corners for Juve and the keeper doesn't come up, they deserve elimination for that alone.

The free kick for Porto's second on the night is a shambles from Juve's point of view. Twenty-plus yards out and it goes through the wall which is in disarray, Ronaldo particularly culpable for turning his back and letting it go through his legs.

Porto through, great display from them and well deserved.

30 yards at least. The wall was right on the edge of the box. It looks like the ball nutmegs two juventus players, which is a sign of what kind of a mess the wall was in. At least one liverpool player is going to be in the quarter finals anyway. Though is grujic really a Liverpool player at this stage?

Pretty wild finish to these two games. Pepe is getting really skinny in his old age. Really good performance by him, for 120 minutes at 38

I can't see that. Is that Grujic doing a busquets style "Peek-a-boo"?

What a shame to see Juventus eliminated. Agnelli no doubt formulating a proposal to give them a bye to the final on the basis of historical entitlement.

                                                Buffon would have saved it.

                                                  I'm not sure if this is a technical problem or a terrible example of/metaphor for the arrogance towards "smaller" clubs like Porto in the CL ;

After his team knocked Juventus out of the Champions League, Porto coach Sergio Conceicao attends the post-match press conference - but receives no questions.

If Liverpool or indeed Leipzig squeeze through tonight, I'll press the traditional OTF quote button tonight, TAB.
