Presumably that bars neutrals as well and you'd have to prove you were a home fan? Hard to administer at such short notice.

I've been wavering between Mossley v Tadcaster and Hyde v Fylde, leaning towards the former. Mossley tickets don't go on sale until this evening but out of curiosity I started the online form for Hyde tickets. Nowhere was I asked whether I was a home fan, away fan or (as was the case with my Radcliffe ticket last week) neutral. Nor, disappointingly, was I asked for my shirt size.

Well, I got one prediction right at least; Sheppey United 2-0 Welling United.

A bit of anal pedantry I'm afraid. But Corinthian Casuals weren't actually founded until 1939. After an amalgamation between The Casuals and the (friendlies only) Corinthians.

The aforementioned Sheppey United are one of five 9th tier teams through to the 3rd Qualifying Round. The others are...
                    • Longridge Town (3-2 winners at tier 7 Stalybridge Celtic)
                    • Skelmersdale United (2-1 winners against tier 7 Lancaster City)
                    • Chatham Town (3-0 winners at tier 6 Folkestone Invicta)
                    • Christchurch (beat tier 6 Gloucester City on penalties after a 1-1 draw)
                    The draw takes place tomorrow

The 3rd Qualifying Round has been drawn.

There will be at least one 9th tier side in the 4th qualifying round with Longridge Town and Skelmersdale drawn against each other.

Telford to Leiston (197 miles each way according to Google) sounds a cracking trip for midweek.

                              Even more pedantically, it's Corinthian-Casuals.

Yeah, I can't see why this has been put into midweek. Play the rounds on consecutive Saturdays ffs.

Joke is on the pedants, I was actually referring to Corinthian's notorious 1920s hooligan firm, Corinthian Casuals, infamous at the time for turning over matchday trams. Not to be confused with The Casuals Corinthians who were very much their antithesis

Boston United have withdrawn due to a number of players testing positive for Coronavirus and a solution to their postponed game not being found.

Sholing and Aveley are this year's complete unknowns for me. Without looking it up, Aveley sounds like Hampshire or Wiltshire. Sholing I'll put in East Sussex.

Aveley are based close to the big shopping centre on the north end of the Dartford Crossing.
Sholing are a Hampshire side, somewhere round Southampton. They only changed their name from VTFC in the last few years or so, having started out as the works team of Vosper Thorneycroft (or possibly its predecessor companies).

I've seen Wealdstone play a league game at Aveley. They call themselves The Millers. One day I'll count up all the teams nicknamed The Millers...

Aveley are quite a fixture in the Isthmian League and have a very impressive new ground. So much so that they seem to be the go-to groundshare in the area. They have at least two other teams as tenants at the moment.

The Christchurch v Dulwich Hamlet game about to start is live on the BBC site and app.
