For next season I'll be glory-hunting with Clermont's virgins. Spurious reasons include empathising with a team in a rugby stronghold, their avant-garde (bit of French, just saying) approach to hiring a female coach, the badge with Vercingetorix (sp?) which evokes the Asterix books, and - most important - I played there once. Not at the club, obviously, just with a bunch of local students, but it was the European Cup in my eyes.

I assume they'll be relegation fodder but never mind.
