Leicester hasn't entered lockdown 2 - it never left lockdown 1. I would assume no fans at the King Power for the foreseeable future.
The National League Premier, North and South is elite level. If the spectator limitations apply to elite only, then they apply at that level. And if it is across the board, then areas of high infection are looking at being in the third tier, with fans banned. Either way, it's no fans in.
All clubs are desperate for whatever income they can lay their hands on. My strong expectation is lockdown 3 in the New Year, running from January to March/April as numbers haven't come down enough for this (inadequate, overdue) lockdown to have it's intended effect. But it's lifting anyway. That can only go one way, really.
Depends on the club. I know that Leicester, back in the early autumn when it was thought fans would be back in stadiums under capacity limits from the start of October, where planning on splitting the season up into blocks, and balloting season ticket holders for games. With the rule that as soon as you were successful getting in once, you were ineligible for the ballot for the rest of that block of games. That way as many season ticket holders as possible would get to see the team play live.
No answer to the fifth one. One would assume so, but that means re-negotiating the deal... which was hard enough to agree in the first place.
My additional question - any away fans? I would assume not, for capacity reasons. And because, if away fans were allowed, then games against sides from a third tier area would have to be fan-less even if taking place in a middle/lower tier town.
But actually, these questions are all ones for Football. Not the government's problem. They should be just saying this is what is allowed currently, up to you how you react to that.
