Hamilton's Jamie Hamilton is reported to have had 3 days training with Brighton.

Always thought Brighton should have signed Marc Albrighton........

      Yes that's a classic case.

Burton Albion must have had a player surnamed Burton at some point. Surely.

We've done this a few times obviously, but the player that always comes to mind for me is this guy - who shares his name with both his club and his country:

Yeah, not sure whose turn it is to mention Adie Cambridge. So I guess I will.

Did Simon or any other Charlton play for the Addicks?

The obvious one is Arsene at Arsenal.

In the 60s Palace, then nicknamed the Glaziers, had Bill Glazier in goal. Sadly, we never secured the signature of Chris Eagles.

FC United of Manchester have had players called Ashton and Baguley. Also Scott Cheetham Hill Road, Nicky Platt Lane and Steven Affleck's Palace.

They also had a team with Battersby, Platt and Grimshaw in, all characters from Coronation Street.

John de Wolf was at Wolves for a couple of seasons in the '90s.

I mostly remember him in the context of another perennial favourite; an enthusiastic fan getting a massive tattoo of him before injury and personality clashes combined to render his Molineux career something of a footnote.

Don’t want to link to The Scum, so here’s a quote of the story...

24 Mar 2019 · Keith scores five times for Keith in 11-0 thrashing of Fort William. KEITH were indebted to Keith after he scored five times for the side on Saturday. Cammy Keith tore Fort William apart to help the team to an 11-0 victory in their Highlands League encounter.

But did Fort William have any Williams playing for them in that match?

If so, the question is whether or not Keith fought William.

That has to be the opening line of a jaunty music hall number.

                                            Robin Gibson of the Robins.

He left the same season we changed our nickname as he didn't want to sign the deed poll form with Dragon Gibson on it.

Mathew Sadler is currently in his second spell at Walsall. He laughs in the face of spelling with double letters.

There's a rugby league player called Sam Moa, although sadly he has only played internationally for Tonga and New Zealand.
