We've done this a few times obviously, but the player that always comes to mind for me is this guy - who shares his name with both his club and his country:
John de Wolf was at Wolves for a couple of seasons in the '90s.
I mostly remember him in the context of another perennial favourite; an enthusiastic fan getting a massive tattoo of him before injury and personality clashes combined to render his Molineux career something of a footnote.
