Looking forward to the quarter finals this weekend, after the drama and ultimate chaos of last year's tournament.
The quarter final draw kept apart the warring protagonists from last year's abandoned final, Esperance Tunis and Wydad Casablanca. Wydad do go back to Tunisia to face Etoile de Sahel, while Esperance face Cairo's Zamalek. Cairo's other giant Al-Ahly play Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa while Tout Puissant from Congo play Raja Casablanca in the last quarter-final, so at this stage the draw opens up the possibility of three different national derbies in the final. All eight teams are former continental champions so it's quite the heavyweight lineup.
