Cuca was Cuckoo. Not sure why he got the red, as I've never seen a red for a coach trying to pick up a ball and getting body-checked to the ground. His entrance to sit with the fans was outstanding.
Only to lose seconds later.
I was happy to see the blind kid with his mom. Didn't know he was a Palmeiras fan. There's a kind of sad commercial over here, with him and his mom sitting in a very dark bus station at night, and he can follow the game on this tablet that can give a textual representation of where the ball is. Happy he got to experience a Libertadores win.
The Mancha Verde was absolutely pissed when the PresidentMaur?cio Galiotte was appointed. They dumped bananas in front of the stadium to protest him. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=732693480568015
Would love to see their speeches tomorrow.

Didn't know Silvia Grecco was already named FIFA Fan of the Year for narrating games to Nickollas.

I could make out a sign for "Camisa 10", and something that said SANQUE, but nothing else. Any google search results in books that are indexed in a library or porn sites.

I know Palmeiras didn't set the world on fire last night but I was pleased for their fans. 22 years is indeed a long time to wait for a trophy when all your main rivals have won it since and are rubbing your faces in it. I would imagine.
I will start a separate World Club Cup thread for your thoughts, seeing as that's next weekend.

Palmeiras will be particularly keen to do well next week as, unlike their three Paulista rivals (or Internacional and Flamengo), they have won neither a Club World Cup nor an Inter-Continental Trophy. In Brazil, the standard method of trolling Palmeiras fans is to remind them that 'Palmeiras nao tem Mundial'. They seem to believe that by inserting this phrase randomly into any online or offline discussion, you automatically win an argument with a Palmeirense.
Unfortunately, the chances of them breaking their duck against Bayern are fairly remote.

Thanks Canta and Sporting.
The way they did it, I thought it was something permanent at the Maracana (haven't had the chance to get to Rio yet.) Obviously there were no closeups of the seats, as you could see it only from the drone shots or the shots behind the goalkeeper from the other side.
I think the way they defended against Santos, they'll have a 35% chance instead of a 3% chance.
And why did Cuca get the red? I've literally never seen anything like that. Was it that weird grab he did when he was getting up? Was there any interviews with the ref?

Boca Juniors out on penalties after a frankly ludicrous shootout, with two or three of the worst pennos ever taken. Mineiro's keeper Harry Maguired on into the postage stamp to win it.
Boca were a nose hair away from winning in normal time, but VAR was having none of it.
