Don't put too much money on Liverpool for 2020-21

They're going to be without Salah, Mane and Keita in January and February after the CAF reversed a previous decision and decided to hold the African Nations Cup in those months. I love the Nations Cup, but it's a big blow to Liverpool next year (no offence, Divock). There's always the summer transfer window I suppose, but talking about transfers it means a lot of clubs are going to seriously think twice before buying African international players now, which is not great for the longer term development of the game there.

Salah and Mane will be gone by then, so I wouldn't get too aerated about it.

Hopefully Salah will be sold anyway, I'm still hoping they can keep Mane.

How many games would they miss?

A lot depends on how Man City recover from this relative slump (by their standards) which might only be possible by thanking Pep for his services then paying him off. Presently Liverpool have a 25 point minimum cushion on form and confidence.

Pep is off. His wife has already left.

On one of his "sabbaticals" then? The pompous arse could stand for the Generalitat I suppose.

The thing is, where would he coach next? Italy?

so he might just try to be pound shop Lluis Companys instead. With a better ending, presumably.

They would have stayed if you put in a coffee machine

                    Or introduced him to McClair.

Agnelli has long been interested, and Sarri is by no means untouchable. Roma might be if the new owner wants to make a splash.

But he's always wanted the Brazil job and isn't going to be doing this forever.

That would be my best guess too.
