The Somerset Live piece is very odd: if nobody heard any racial abuse, why did the teams walk off?

Haringey game to be replayed (but as the original tie, not as a replay).

Decision was inevitable as the FA Cup Committee probably needed to make a decision before it could be fully investigated. Not clear if there's going to be away fans at this stage.

Looks like the whole West Country is in full on denial-mode at the moment. Leading the way is Somerset Live who've posted this disgusting piece, as well a news article that suggested racial abuse was "unsubstantiated" (they seem to have amended that now that two Yeovil fans have been arrested, and after several people pointed out Yeovil fans confirming that Boro players had been racially abused).

But the siege mentality in Somerset is very much in full swing. Also emerged that two Boro volunteers received graphic sexual harassment from Yeovil fans.

There's also a video that shows Yeovil fans abusing the Boro keeper. At one point one threatens to kill him and several missiles are thrown at him, but since the video doesn't explicitly catch any audible racism, it's being circulated as evidence that there was none.

At this point the only pragmatic solution is to sink the entire West Country into the sea.

I knew something like this would happen in the UK after the midweek international and cautioned as such (to be fair I wasn't the only one).

I await those who expressed their anger and outrage to replicate their comments on this thread.

18 days after the 110th anniversary of the first recorded incident of racial abuse at football (also, incidentally, perpetrated by Bristol City fans).

So now we've got reports of supporters of Yeovil, Hearts, and Bristol City.

Aforementioned clubs appear to be taking the correct approach.
