Scramble an equaliser, and still five minutes of injury-time.

What is the lower part behind the goals in Milan occupied by? Are there some lower private boxes there or what or is it semi empty space?

On edit: some kind of walkway?

Depends on the fixture, but many fans prefer not to sit directly below the ultras for reasons you can imagine (and some posters can attest to). That section of the "other" end is given to opposing fans for clubs that bring significant support (less well supported clubs get a corner).

Do the later CL games kick off at 8pm now as opposed to 7:45pm?

No. They kick off at 9.

Only if you're living in foreign.

Am I wrong in thinking it was always 7:45pm (apart from the early kick-offs before) though?

Was 8 p.m. last season, which was the first year of the new times.

Why did Inter play earlier? So as not to coincide with Napoli?

Christ, that either never registered with me or I've forgotten over the summer. Either is possible in my dotage.

                          Yes, for Italian television

Liverpool being very wasteful with their chances, could come back to bite them on the arse. Great save by Adrian to keep them level, too.

Some excellent headers tonight, Genk's second and Ajax's third goals were fantastic examples.

That rule is apparently being applied differently depending on gender.

That 'clear and obvious error' thing with VAR penalty reviews is somewhat subjective, isn't it? At least one of the four angles they just replayed showed exactly that, but presumably they have to judge what angle the ref was viewing it from?
