I'm watching the Scotland-Argentina game with headphones. I can hear every 'doff' of the ball being kicked, or bouncing, except when there is a slight touch (say, a player dribbling/controlling).
It's like watching an EA game.
Is there a mic in the ball? And, if so, is that to engage the viewer/player who responds to that sort of constant stimuli to keep them interested?
Are there (this, or other) ways that gaming has influenced football coverage?
