        Thanks Simon and Ray for the explanation. Obviously, it looks more like a rebrand reversal than I originally thought. Not being a supporter (although, from experience, they aren't always the best judges of these situations), I am not in a place to comment but have to say that the move away from the Tiger badge is welcome. I think that the Hull City saga has prejudiced me against them.

          And in the West, too, as the Bayern and Aachen examples show and one of my favourite Gladbach kits is early 70s white with green and black conjoined off-centre single stripes. I have it as a fridge magnet but can’t find an image...
