Well, Sinama Pongolle, it's the Europa League Knock-Heist.

Sporting are one down. Celtic are barely holding on to a nil-nil. (Valencia look a teensy bit weak at both sides, but Celtic don't have the speed, nor skill. Yet.)

I remember one thing, playing for the cubs: pass the ball back, to the front guy.

Celtic, shocking at the back. Hands up, part-time Arsenal wannabees.

(Scott Brown is having a fucking 'mare. Which is unusual for him.)

So Chelsea didn’t win 7-0 to keep their scores sequence going.
And 1-2 leaves Malmo with a tiny chance of getting rid of both Prem big boys (I know Arsenal will undoubtedly put 4 passed Bates in the 2nd leg).
        Fuck Scott Brown.
        Napoli set to go further.

I think Napoli can safely prioritise the EL this season, could be a good bet for the trophy

what's the Florent Sinama Pongolle reference in the thread title?

Thread title was just a random "Suffering Succotash" type thing, and his was the first name that tripped off my tongue. (Knock-Heist is a reference to a team who was in "It's A Knockout" some eons ago.)

The Krasnodar player who just scored a brilliant 85th minute goal to probably beat Valencia burst into tears afterwards

Now he'll be in tears again. Valencia score in the third minute of injury time

Arsenal will swiftly have the aggregate lead, such is their current dominance.

Eintracht have an away goal and are giving Inter fits at the Meazza. A few minutes before halftime, Handanovic foiled a two on one that would have likely put the tie beyond reach. Inter still need to score twice to go through.

Eintracht have bolloxed three odd man rushes (one 5 on 2) in the last five minutes.

                                Still 0-1.

Eintracht are through. So are Villarreal. Arsenal will be shortly.

Slavia-Sevilla and Benfica-Dinamo Zagreb are going to extra time.

Arsenal covered their last 5 minute policy of "shitting ourselves" by shitting themselves.

Winning was never a doubt. 3-0 was, for a while.

SEVILLA HAVE JUST SCORED! Just the 6th minute of overtime.

Sevilla famously wear black socks with their all white first kit and have decided that they should therefore wear red ones with their black with grey sleeves change.

Which has forced Slavia to wear light blue socks with their red and white halves and white shorts. At least their names and numbers match the socks.
