I think that you are in the minority thinking that he is in the middle of the bridge.

I am most familiar with him at Inter and Barcelona for obvious reasons, but in each case he began the arson well before his next step was assured. He just isn't that in to clubs that aren't completely into him, and no club stays infatuated for very long.

Well where is he going to go? Aren't all the windows shut? And isn't anywhere that will take him going to be a step down from MLS?

I'm not sure he really cares.

He will stay there and slag off the league as long as the Galaxy are willing to pay him, which likely means the end of his contract.

Gerrard missed games because of air travel. Drogba wouldn't play on turf (and other times when he didn't feel like it.) Now I've checked Henry put in an honest shift at NYRB.

I've got to say I find the relatively well adjusted professionalism of the modern footballer a refreshing contrast to the industrial levels of toxic masculinity that coursed through football until relatively recently. I don't see there being too many Zlatans in the future.

Merritt Paulson at a Timbers fans Q&A said there are 2 teams locked for the NWSL next year, in the Southeast and West Coast, and another Southeast team for 2020. One of them is USL, one MLS, one MLS to be, which makes the best current guesses Louisville City and Nashville for the Southeast, and either LAFC or at a stretch Sacramento for the West Coast team.

Robin Fraser appointed the permanent head coach of Colorado. Conor Casey was offered the head job at the Switchbacks to keep him in the organization or as an assistant to Fraser, but chose to walk instead.

San Antonio sold one of their kids onto a Belgian 2nd division team.

USL and ESPN signed a 3 year deal to continue broadcasting, in the low seven figures, with a good deal more games broadcast and not just on ESPN+.

Atlanta 2-1 Minnesota in the USOC final.

Nashville sent $100K of allocation money to Seattle for the rights to a French midfielder, who they have signed as their first DP.

Washington Spirit sold out Audi Field last Saturday, and then beat Orlando 2-1.

A.J. de la Garza broke his foot on a challenge, out for the season.

DCU (finally) reacquires Yamil Asad. He'll play for Loudoun United the rest of this year, and the varsity next. They also lent Chris Durkin to Sint-Truuden in Belgium for the rest of their season. $250K loan fee, $2.25M to purchase with a 20% transfer fee. Reworked contract if he comes back.

Vancouver traded a kid to Inter Miami starting next year, and lent him to the CPL for the rest of this.

Colin Clark, still playing amateur ball for a Colorado team in a USOC qualifier, had a heart attack and passed away last week.

Houston was supposed to have a very large offer from Europe for Mauro Manotas.

The Vancouver kid is David Norman Jr., son of Whitecap Golden Age defender David Norman (50+ caps for Canada).

It is Miami that loaned him to Pacific, which is making the 'Caps look bad yet again.

That’s awful about Colin Clark. Only 35

Nations league: Bermuda went to Panama and won 2-0. Martinique went to Trinidad and drew 2-2. Cuba went to Canada and gave up 6 goals and five defectors; and as I type this are already down 1-0 in the rematch.

USL 1 will add 4 teams next year in addition to the Omaha expansion team: Galaxy 2, Timbers 2, a brand new Revolution 2, and an expansion team in Riverside, CA that is supposed to be backed by Roma.

The only thing left to settle before announcing Sacramento is figuring out the territorial rights between them and San Jose.

The USL San Diego expansion team is speeding things up, and announced plans to play next year in USL1, at Torero Stadium, where they have to share with 2 college teams and the San Diego MLR team. Landon to GM and possibly coach also.

Milwaukee's amatuer team, Milwaukee Torrent-which is basically an extension of the indoor MIlwaukee Wave-announced they found an extra owner and will apply to play 3rd division in 2021, either in USL1 or in NISA, which kicked off a fall quickie season last week.

Mike Petke is suing RSL for the remainder of his contract.

Andrew Hauptman's partner bought him out of the Fire.

Sky Blue got 8K to show up at 11AM at Red Bull Arena on fairly short notice last Sunday. The Spirit are debating where to play next year themselves-back to the Soccerplex, some or all games at Audi, or some games at Loudoun United's field in NoVA.

Fresno FC is 50/50 to return next year; playing at the Fresno baseball stadium is hideously expensive.

KC is changing their reserve team name to SKC II

The USL expansion team for the East Bay might start playing a year early at a local community college.

If NYCFC gets screwed out of playoff games by the Yankees, they'll play at CitiField.

DCU have pulled out of their broadcasting deal with Flosports; the final game will be streamed on their website, broadcast announcement for next season to follow eventually.

Orlando gave their coach a total of 1.5 seasons before firing him today. It's not a rebuild if you never built anything to begin with, right?

Brian Fernandez entered the league's substance abuse program.

Chicago: Bastian Pigclimber retires, the Soldier Field move is official, and the rebrand/refresh is rumored to be announced over the winter. And they already have their home opener set. Saturday, 3/21/20 v Atlanta.

Vancouver talked to Olivier Giroud, but if he comes here, he doesn't want to go there.

Forward Madison is paying for the game tickets of traveling fans to their playoff game at Dallas's reserves. Who will share the stadium the Texas Rangers are leaving with the XFL team coming to Dallas next year.

Nacho Piatti's option will be picked up for next year by Montreal, and Wondo's in for one more year.

Miles Robinson gets a contract extension from Atlanta.
